How do I restore a purchase?

Open Faircopy and choose Restore Purchases. Use the iPhone that is signed in with the Apple ID you used to buy Faircopy Pro. The purchase is tied to that Apple ID. There is no Plainkeel account to sign in to.

If the purchase still does not show up, email [email protected]. Say whether it was a subscription or a lifetime purchase, and about when you bought it. Apple holds the receipt. Plainkeel cannot look up a purchase from your name alone.

Never send your Apple ID password. Plainkeel does not need it, and a real support reply will not ask for it.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Apple bills the subscription. Faircopy Pro renews monthly or yearly until you cancel. On your iPhone: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Open Settings, tap your name at the top (your Apple ID), then tap Subscriptions.

Choose Faircopy Pro to review it or cancel it. Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

A lifetime purchase is paid once. It does not renew, so it is not an ongoing subscription. If you don't see Faircopy Pro under Subscriptions, check that you are signed in with the Apple ID you used to buy. Email [email protected] if it still doesn't appear.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds go through Apple, not through Plainkeel. Open reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID you used to buy, and submit the request for that purchase. Apple reviews the request and decides the outcome.

Where are my files saved?

Faircopy processes documents on your iPhone. It does not upload them to Plainkeel.

When you save or export a PDF, iOS asks where to put the file. You can choose On My iPhone, iCloud Drive, or another location shown in the Files app. A file you save to iCloud Drive is stored in your personal iCloud account under Apple's terms. Plainkeel does not keep a copy, and Plainkeel does not have an account for you.

If you share a PDF with another app, that app receives the copy you chose to share.

Does a scan leave my iPhone?

No. The camera captures pages on the device, and the text recognition that makes a scan searchable runs on the device. Faircopy does not upload the scan or the recognized text to Plainkeel. When you want a PDF stored somewhere you choose, save or share it.

Do I need an account?

No. Faircopy does not have a Plainkeel login. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID.
