Coming soon to the App Store
What it does
- View PDFs.
- Merge documents and reorder pages.
- Sign a document.
- Scan a paper document with the camera and save it as a PDF.
- Make a scan searchable with text recognition that runs on your iPhone. Searchable scans are part of Faircopy Pro.
On your iPhone
Files are processed on your device. Your documents are not uploaded to Plainkeel.
Faircopy may ask to use the camera when you scan a document. It may ask for access to files when you open a PDF or save one. Text recognition, which makes a scan searchable, runs on the iPhone. The scan and the recognized text stay on the device.
When you save or export, you choose where the PDF goes. Details are on the support page.
Free vs Pro
- Free. View, reorder, sign, and scan. Merge up to 3 files and 40 pages.
- Pro. Faircopy Pro unlocks unlimited merging and searchable scans, using on-device text recognition. It is optional: an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple handles the payment. There's no account to create.
